ABOUT THE PROJECT

Khayaal a world of spiritual imagination

Tales of Khayaal is a fictional creative universe inspired by deep spiritual concepts and the rich legacy of diverse Muslim cultures.

Co-creators Peter Gould and Rehan Khan were drawn by the metaphysical act of khayaal, a form of spiritual imagination within the Islamic tradition. Over several years, their shared vision was developed into a crafted universe full of unique lore, layered stories and adventures with memorable characters exploring timely themes.

The creative development process has involved contributions from a gifted global team of inspiring artists, creatives and designers, supported by Gould Studio and a community of like-hearted friends and fans.

Tales of Khayaal has a long-term mission to inspire millions of hearts with virtue-based storytelling as a wholesome, globally-loved creative brand through a book series, card games, TTRPG, animation, films and video games, God-Willing.
